Patchman was built with hosting providers specifically in mind.
It literally takes 60 seconds to start scanning for vulnerabilities and malware. Here's a few more examples of how we will make your life a lot easier:

You and your customers have access to a super easy to use web application. For you, it's a piece of cake to set up, configure, monitor and maintain deployments from one to thousands of servers. Your customers get a private panel to review unresolved issues and fix them.
The following statistics and claims are based on third-party research and case studies with customers of Patchman.
On a monthly basis, 1 to 5 percent of your websites are compromised. Hackers generally want to take advantage of your server's resources for spam runs, DDoS attacks, etc. However, it also exposes you to much more severe risks: root exploits, data loss, data theft, or worse. Each security breach costs you at least one to several hours in labour to resolve.
According to W3Techs, approximately 34% of the web runs on WordPress, Joomla or Drupal. For average web hosting companies this number is actually much higher: 57%. Approximately 80% of these websites run an outdated version of their CMS. This leaves 46% of your websites exploitable through significant security vulnerabilities.
According to research by StopBadware and Commtouch, 28% of webmaster of whose website was compromised considers moving to a new provider. Webmasters blame the provider for the compromise, are unhappy with the (lack of) support they receive, are not able to resolve the issue themselves or are simply fed up with it and quit.
"One of the most time consuming problems we have had is dealing with old, vulnerable CMS and the fallout of customers sites being hacked. With Patchman this is a thing of the past, and long may it remain so."
— Andy Manning, Brand Director, UK2 Group (United Kingdom)
"Patchman simplifies and enhances our core product by automating maintenance tasks that left customers' websites vulnerable. This results in less incidents and greater customer satisfaction. We couldn't be happier."
— Myron Salant, Head of Product - Web Services, Gridhost (South Africa)

No - This is the unique part about Patchman. We only patch the specific security vulnerabilities and won't touch anything else. In comparison, updating the CMS as a whole usually results in a broken website due to plugins and themes depending on a specific version of the CMS.
Launched in early 2014, Patchman was created to simplify security for hosting providers. We recognized that abuse was a huge time drain in the company. Customers wouldn't keep their CMS up to date, and the resulting security vulnerabilities were being exploited at a rapidly growing pace to abuse the server's resources for spam runs, DDoS attacks and more. This had to stop, but it was a losing battle to get customers to update. So we designed a solution to proactively patch CMS vulnerabilities automatically, while cutting costs and increasing customer happiness. Say hello to Patchman.
